The Free Dental Health Camp held on 1st July 2026 at BHU Nawanshehr and SOS Children's Village, Mangal <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Free Dental Health Camp held on 1st July 2026 at BHU Nawanshehr and SOS Children’s Village, Mangal was successfully organized by the Department of Community Dentistry, Women Dental College, Abbottabad, under the leadership of Dr. Qurat-Ul-Ain, Associate Professor, Department of Community Dentistry.<\/div><\/div>
SOS Children’s Village, Mangal<\/div>
\u2022 75 children were screened.<\/div>
\u2022 25 children received dental treatment.<\/div>
\u2022 Portable dental units were used for restorative fillings and scaling.<\/div>
\u2022 Oral health education sessions were conducted.<\/div>
\u2022 Tooth brushing techniques were demonstrated.<\/div>
\u2022 Goody packs were distributed among all participating children.<\/div><\/div>
BHU Nawanshehr<\/div>
\u2022 100 patients were screened.<\/div>
\u2022 30 patients received dental treatment.<\/div>
\u2022 Portable dental units were used for restorative fillings and scaling.<\/div>
\u2022 Oral health education sessions and tooth brushing demonstrations were conducted. Goody pack distributed to all patients.<\/div>
\u2022 Patients requiring advanced care were referred for further management.<\/div><\/div>
The Department sincerely appreciates the dedication and teamwork of the faculty members, dental surgeons, assistant staff, and BDS students whose professionalism and commitment made this outreach activity a great success.<\/div><\/div>
