The Free Dental Health Camp held on 1st July 2026 at BHU Nawanshehr and SOS Children’s Village, Mangal was successfully organized by the Department of Community Dentistry, Women Dental College, Abbottabad, under the leadership of Dr. Qurat-Ul-Ain, Associate Professor, Department of Community Dentistry.
SOS Children’s Village, Mangal
• 75 children were screened.
• 25 children received dental treatment.
• Portable dental units were used for restorative fillings and scaling.
• Oral health education sessions were conducted.
• Tooth brushing techniques were demonstrated.
• Goody packs were distributed among all participating children.
BHU Nawanshehr
• 100 patients were screened.
• 30 patients received dental treatment.
• Portable dental units were used for restorative fillings and scaling.
• Oral health education sessions and tooth brushing demonstrations were conducted. Goody pack distributed to all patients.
• Patients requiring advanced care were referred for further management.
