On 22nd May 2025, the Department of Community and Preventive Dentistry, Women Dental College Abbottabad, organized a dental camp titled “Health Through Oral Health” at BHU Sajangali and Islamia Academy Sajangali, Nathia Gali. Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahid Khan, the dedicated team provided free dental checkups, consultations, and oral health education to the local community. A total of 103 patients at BHU and over 900 schoolchildren at Islamia Academy were examined. Brushing techniques were demonstrated using models, and each beneficiary received oral hygiene kits including toothpaste and toothbrushes. Parent feedback forms were distributed for continued engagement. Free medicines, including analgesics and antibiotics, were provided to those in need. The camp aimed to raise awareness about oral hygiene and promote preventive dental care in underserved areas. The efforts of faculty members, support staff, and second-year BDS students made this outreach initiative a meaningful success. Together, we took a step toward healthier smiles and a brighter future.
